I asked William, who called me if I could take his number. I then phoned my two friends who advised they hadn't arranged anything and I immediately phoned William back. It was then the penny dropped that I'd won a top of the range Range Rover worth £60,000. As you can imagine, hearing that news on a normal Monday afternoon I was somewhat chuffed!"

I didn't hesitate to buy a ticket at all: my wife was taking my eldest daughter to the toilet, and it was quite close by, so I knew I only had about 20 seconds in which to buy the ticket before she came back to stop me…. I don't think I told her until we came back from holiday. It was about a week, ten days before I heard the news, so it was a very nice surprise indeed! I think I might be buying some more tickets in the future."

View competition resultsHear the call!"I arrived at work to see an e-mail from Best of the Best saying to get in touch. I thought it would be for marketing purposes or whatever. I got one of the guys to have a look and said to him I couldn't have won as they said they would call the winner. At that instant I checked my mobile and saw a missed call which was 15 minutes before the e-mail. Then I really panicked. The problem was that I was 4 hours ahead of the UK in Baku so I had to wait all morning before I could contact anybody. When I did call, Will was out, so that was another hour. By this time all the people in the office were as excited as me. I was holding a big meeting when the call came and the place went quiet. After I stammered 'thanks' and put the phone down, the place erupted. It was something I will never forget."

"I was shocked to near silence, whilst feeling excited by the news of my win. Never having had a substantial win in my life before the whole experience was one I shall never forget. As the shock wore off, the excitement kicked in. Today I am still running on a high! At the airport, I was in holiday mood, and attracted by the Best of the Best stand. It was my first encounter with Best of the Best, and I was immediately tempted to buy a ticket. I have had another go at trying to win with Best of the Best but as yet have not repeated my success!"
