SENIOR DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE
BOTB (Best of the Best Plc) is the Dream Car Competition company, established in 1999 and traditionally located in major UK airports, although now exclusively online at www.botb.com.
The company runs competitions giving people the chance to win their Dream Car and cash twice a week, with tickets starting from just 45p. Winners are surprised in person with their new car 52 weeks a year, guaranteed - to date over £45m worth of cars have been driven away by more than 600 players. There is also a weekly Lifestyle Competition offering motorbikes, luxury watches, holidays and the latest tech.
BOTB is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM) and is based in Parsons Green, SW London. The Marketing & Content team makes up approximately half of employees, playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of this exciting, unique business.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
As Senior Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of tasks to support the marketing team, primarily focused on acquiring new customers.
A large part of your remit will be assisting in the management of campaigns across social media channels, in particular Instagram and Twitter. This includes adding content on a daily basis and setting up Instagram adverts via Facebook’s Ads Manager. You will also play an active role helping with BOTB’s other social channels output.
The role requires a solid understanding of affiliate marketing as you will be responsible for BOTB’s affiliate program via Affiliate Window. This includes onboarding new affiliates, sending weekly newsletters and ensuring creatives are constantly refreshed with help from the design team.
You will also assist in managing the BOTB website through the content management system, updating products and setting up the weekly competition cycles. There is also an opportunity to look after some 3rd party tech platforms, so being ‘IT savvy’ is a bonus.
You must be ROI-focused with the ability to analyse campaigns and report your results to the team in weekly meetings.
You will be a skilful individual who takes pride in their approach to work and is organized, literate, reliable and resourceful with a solid grounding in marketing.
Required Skills & Experience
Educated to degree level
2-3 years’ marketing experience
Experience of managing social media channels
Experience with Facebook Ads Manager
Experience working with a CMS
Affiliate programme experience is a plus
Design/Photoshop skills desirable
Familiar with Google Analytics or a similar analytics tool
Demonstrable campaign reporting and analysis
ROI-focused, pro-active and data-driven
Basic HTML skills required
Confident and with a creative mindset
Inquisitive and keen to explore new ways to grow the customer base
A keen eye for detail
Interest/knowledge of cars helpful!
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, permanent position. Start date Jan 2022.
