When Aston Martin launched the DB11 they faced their toughest task yet – replacing the achingly beautiful, yet rather old DB9.
And while the DB11 is perhaps not be as aesthetically pleasing as the DB9, it’s on another level in terms of technology - just ask Dream Car winner Arieh Bitton!
There's some seriously clever aerodynamic work going on, with vents and ducts that channel air through the bodywork and out of the rear deck to avoid the need for any spoilers.
Inside is where we see the fruits of the relationship with Mercedes-AMG with a whole selection of Mercedes tech for the infotainment and other assistance systems.
If the engine size and power seem familiar, that’s because they are – the 528bhp 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 is the same one found in the AMG GT-S – but there are lots of Aston tweaks to ensure it has its own character.
Weighing 115kg less than the V12 model - most of which is taken off the nose – this V8 promises to be far more dynamic and sporting than the V12 too.
