« Back Audi SQ8 TFSi
Since its launch, the incredible Audi SQ8 has had a powerful V8 diesel powerplant. But times they are a-changing and diesel is somewhat out of favour these days.
So say hello to the new SQ8 TFSi – which thankfully hasn’t been downsized and now features a 4.0 litre twin turbo petrol V8 very much like the one in the RSQ8, just with a few less ponies.
Now this V8 now has 503bhp and 770Nm of torque – a huge amount of power but keeps its distance from the RS-daddy at the top of the tree. Its good enough for a 4.1 second sprint to 62mph too, which trust us feels very quick in a behemoth SUV.
The usual SQ8 styling still remains, with an enormous, imposing grille, huge air intakes and a set of huge alloy wheels filling out those massive arches. And let’s not forget the interior which is still a typical Audi masterpiece of style and technology.
You could win this new SQ8 TFSi in the BOTB Dream Car Competition this week!
