BMW M4 Convertible

BMW M4 Convertible Airport

REVIEW

When BMW announced that the M3 coupe was to become the M4 coupe with the introduction of the latest model, the internet went into meltdown. But with this new M4 Convertible, BMW will certainly silence a few naysayers mainly because it looks so damn good. The coupe is a tad more purposeful, sure, but this Convertible model has vents, intakes and bulges in all the right places. Plus there’s a folding metal hardtop meaning you get all the benefits of the coupe while being able to drop the roof. Power is taken care of by the same powerplant as the coupe and saloon, meaning a twin turbocharged 3.0 litre straight six cylinder engine, producing 431 bhp and 406 lb/ft of torque. There is a weight penalty thanks to the roof hardware, but it still manages 0 – 62 mph in 4.6 seconds and has a limited top speed of 155 mph. Perfect for attacking your favourite road on a summer’s day. ** Cash alternative: 80% of the ex-VAT UK RRP **
