Ferrari F8 Tributo

Ferrari F8 Tributo

REVIEW

Some saw the Ferrari 488 GTB as a lesser car than the 458 it replaced due to the addition of turbos to the classic V8 engine, even though it was blisteringly quick and a much better car all round. It was only when the 488 Pista came out that people truly revered it for the amazing car it truly was. The Pista had more power, better looks and sharper handling but was a highly limited run car so only the lucky few got to buy one. Luckily Ferrari is on a development sprint at the moment, so we now have the stunning new F8 Tributo, which is basically a Pista in more sensible clothes. So it has the same 710bhp twin turbo V8, a similar S-duct in the front bumper/bonnet, tweaked styling all around so it looks far more modern and dynamic compared to the 488 and lots of the technical wizardry from the Pista as well. Initial reviews have said the F8 is 95% of the car the Pista is on track, but far better on road, which to us means it’s going to be one of the most capable and thrilling supercars of the current era.
