Lexus RC-F

Lexus RC-F Airport

REVIEW

Lexus surprised the world in 2007 when they revealed a 400 bhp version of their rather staid IS model – the IS-F. It put up a good fight against the Mercedes C63 saloon and BMW M3 saloon, but wasn’t quite up to their standards. However that was their first attempt, now they’ve revealed the new F model, based on the sleek RC coupe – the RC-F. Right from the off the RC-F scores a point over the BMW M4 and forthcoming new C63 AMG Coupe as they both use turbocharged engines and the RC-F features a 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V8 putting out over 450 bhp. The looks are aggressive and challenging to say the least, but it’s certainly different and that front grille will make anyone in front of you move out of the way! ** Cash alternative: 80% of the ex-VAT UK RRP **
