« Back Fiat 500 La Prima Cabriolet
Fiat have had a really good thing going with the 500. Since the new model was introduced in 2007 it’s been a sales success throughout the world with people loving the cute retro styling and nippy engines.
But after 13yrs there have only been facelifts and the platform was showing its age, so Fiat has released a brand new 500, redesigned from the ground up – no really they have!
The styling may look the same with a modern twist, but under the skin everything has changed as this 500 is now fully electric. As city cars go EV it was only a matter of time before the 500 did, and with fresh rivals including the Honda e and Mini Electric it was about time Fiat entered the arena.
But they’ve done it now, and with serious intent – the top spec La Prima Cabrio model offered here has a monster 199 miles of range, that’s 50 miles more than the competition and means most people will only need to charge once a week at the most. It can even be fast-charged up to 85kw – that’s 80% of charge in just 35 mins.
There’s a whole host of tech inside too, with every driver assist feature you could want, a 10.25” touchscreen with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and many more in the newly designed interior.
And being the Cabrio, you can also open the roof right back for full access to the elements while driving around silently.
The perfect city car just got even better, and you can win one this week on BOTB!
