A Gloucestershire man will be giving his girlfriend a touch of glamour after winning a Chanel J12 watch worth £3,300, which is worn by the likes of Keira Knightley, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
Peter Mitchell, from Tewkesbury, won the designer watch thanks to lifestyle competition BOTB.
He was told he had won the prize by BOTB presenter Christian Willams over Facetime this week.
During the call, he described finding out he had won as “crazy”.
He later said: “I was stunned to get the call. I was planning on getting my girlfriend Vanessa something really special for her birthday in a couple of weeks, so the timing of this win was perfect.”
Peter, who drives all over the country dropping off and picking up cars, said that he was glad he had selected a watch for Vanessa, rather than himself.
“It will be such a nice surprise for her,” he said.
BOTB’s Christian, who surprises winners weekly all over the world, was thrilled to be able to surprise Peter.
He said: “Although the prize is not for Peter himself, we are glad to have played a part in being able to give his girlfriend Vanessa the perfect birthday gift.
