CLOSE X

Knockin' On Andrew's Door

Andrew French works for a windows and doors company, however this morning he had a rather unusual customer. Christian, not in the market for double glazing, surprised Andrew with a brand new Volkswagen Touareg R-Line, worth £55,000!

Not only did Andrew win a top-spec VW, but also £20,000 cash in the boot which he is planning to use for a holiday to America... after he's treated the rest of the office to lunch! Congratulations Dream Car Winner 464, Andrew French!

The key to a good day? New car and £20,000

Mar 2019

NOT everyone likes surprises, but when it involves a top-of-the-range new car worth £55,000 and another £20,000 in cash you’d probably put up with it.

Andrew French certainly did that when a normal day’s work as a window surveyor in Cirencester took a surreal twist as he was ambushed by the organisers of dream car competition BOTB.

Andrew, 31, from Cheltenham, was given the keys to a Volkswagen Touareg R-Line and a briefcase with £20,000 in it as the contest’s weekly winner. And it’s all thanks to his late dad. Andrew began entering BOTB’s competitions three years ago after finding an email from them in his late father’s inbox.

He said the cash could go towards the home he purchased last year with partner Stevie, as well as some luxuries for their summer holiday. “We’re headed to Santorini this summer with some friends so I’ll definitely be buying the champagne,” he said.
