The first two places on the grid for the inaugural BOTB Caterham Grand Prix have been won by Ian Evans and Martyn Rossiter-Houldsworth. They'll be joined by more winners over the coming months to see who'll be crowned the champion Best of the Best driver. The event takes place on September 10th at the home of British racing, Silverstone, and includes professional instructors as well as an overnight stay at the nearby 4* Whittlebury Hall Hotel
The undisputed jewel in Formula 1's crown, Monaco is the race every driver wants to win – a spectacular charge through the narrow, unforgiving streets of the glamorous Mediterranean principality. Zsolt Szerenyi is the lucky winner of this competition and he'll enjoy 3 nights' stay in Nice, helicopter transfers to the race and prime Grandstand seats to watch the action unfold!
Alun McIntyre from Scotland will soon be sliding into the cockpit of an F1 car to experience the thrill of a day racing around one of the most prestigious circuits in Europe. Stephen Blythe swapped the chilly climes of Elgin in the north of Scotland for the much more temperate surrounds of sunny Nevada as the winner of our Las Vegas Supercar Driving Experience competition. Not only did Stephen enjoy four nights in the luxurious Bellagio hotel, he also got behind the wheel of five amazing Supercars at the legendary Vegas Motor Speedway. Lucky man!
Edward Flann was the lucky winner of November's free competition – Ice Driving on Sweden's frozen lakes! Unfortunately due to the unseasonably high temperatures, the trip has been delayed until later this year to ensure the ice is thick enough for Edward and his wife to drift, speed and slide across acres of frozen water surrounded by stunning scenery.
Victor Keeley was the lucky winner of the USA Road Trip competition which ran in early October. The event is taking place in April 2014 – check back for what promises to be some amazing pictures, video and hopefully a story or two!
The PalmerSport Track Day is firmly established as the best event of its kind in the world, with 6 miles of track, 4 separate circuits and 8 different challenges in 7 amazing cars! Free competition winner Sahir (Zak) Khan was lucky enough to take on Best of the Best MD William Hindmarch in a head to head contest – see who came out on top in the video and images below.
It's the world's most famous racetrack and we gave one lucky Best of the Best customer the chance to race William Hindmarch around it. Steve Moore and his partner Karen joined Will at the legendary Nordschleife to get behind the wheel of a race-specced BMW M3 E92 and take on the 'Green Hell'. Both were given expert instruction on racing lines (and when to brake!) before being unleashed against the clock. See how the challenge unfolded in the video and images below.
The 200mph Challenge competition from earlier in the year proved so popular, we decided to do it again! The lucky winner this time around was Chris Bennett from Lancashire, who enjoyed a luxury night at Kilworth House hotel before taking on the challenge the following day in a Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4-12C and the ludicrously quick Lamborghini Aventador. We're delighted to say that Chris successfully broke the magical mark – see more in the video below.

Monaco is the undisputed jewel in Formula 1's crown: the race every driver wants to win, a spectacular charge through the narrow, unforgiving streets of the glamorous Mediterranean principality. In a stunning setting between the mountains and the Med, it attracts the most beautiful people, the rich and the famous, exclusive parties and an electric atmosphere.
Best of the Best customer Peter Tremaglio was lucky enough to win a VIP weekend to experience Monaco for himself by winning our latest free competition. Check out the pictures and video of his trip below…

It's not often you have the chance to sit behind the wheel of a Supercar, much less six of them! But that's what happened to Best of the Best customer Chris Hall in April, as he took part in the Brecon Beacons Supercar tour. Driving through 200 miles of Wales' most beautiful countryside in Brecon Beacons National Park, Chris experienced the thrill of driving some of the world's most desirable cars including the Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4-12C, and Lamborghini Performante, amongst others.
With an expert instructor alongside, Chris was able to get the absolute maximum out of each car, whilst understanding each one's individual nuances and subtle differences. Truly an unforgettable experience and one that he'll cherish for a long time to come!
On 21st March 2013, a few lucky people were given the chance to try and break the magical 200mph barrier on a test track in the heart of England. After two warm-up runs - the first in a Lamborghini LP570-4 Performante and the second in a Ferrari 458 - the time had come to step up to the challenge. Slipping behind the wheel of the stunning Lamborghini Aventador, each driver was given just one chance to surpass the double-hundred speed. Eleven people took on the challenge… and we're delighted to say, all eleven beat it! Check out the pictures and video below to see the day's action.
Many thanks to our friends at ecurie25 for organising the day.
Expert (and grateful!) instruction was provided by Colin Nield and Sean Cooper from Trackfocused.
