BOTB is based in south-west London. Our head Office address is 2 Plato Place, 72-74 St Dionis Road, London SW6 4TU. We used to be in 26 different airports and shopping centres, but we have now moved solely online at www.botb.com. From time to time, you can also find us at big motoring events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed!

BOTB is the longest-running competition website in the UK. Established in 1999, we have given away £64 million in prizes to thousands of winners. There are guaranteed winners every week in the Dream Car Competition and our other competitions.

Yes, you can win any of our competitions even if you don’t live in the UK.

As a UK-based company, approximately 90% of our players are from the UK, so as you would expect, about 90% of our winners are also from the UK.

Nevertheless, we’ve had winners from every continent in the world, so don’t be put off playing if you live outside the UK!

There's one prize to be won per competition. You have the flexibility to play for hundreds of different prizes, but if you win, you'll only receive the prize linked to your winning ticket.

Yes! Depending on the value of the car won, BOTB will pay up to £1,500 towards insurance costs and up to £400 for servicing.

Yes, when you win, you can choose to take a hefty tax-free cash alternative. In fact, lots of winners take the cash to spend on buying a home, renovations, or their dream holiday.

Absolutely! Most cars can be supplied with right or left-hand drive. Please see the full terms and conditions for further information.

We will happily deliver your car or other prize anywhere in the world, free of charge. All cars are delivered with UK VAT paid. 

There may be further import, registration or luxury goods duties in certain countries, which generally we do not pay for.

In some cases, it may be more cost-effective to take the cash alternative and then buy the car in your country – which we can help you with!

Tickets currently range from 50p to £5.60, depending on the car or prize you’re playing for. We regularly offer even cheaper tickets – keep an eye out for discounts and special offers!

You can buy up to 75 tickets for the Dream Car Competition each week and up to 300 tickets for our other competitions. Read more in our terms and conditions.

Spot the Ball is a football-themed game in which you must find the center of a missing ball in a photograph. 

Your chosen points will be recorded as coordinates (x,y), stored in our database and saved in your account. If you pick the closest coordinates to our independent panel of judges, we’ll be turning up at your front door with your dream car.

We use Spot the Ball because it's widely recognised, easy to enter, and, most importantly, good fun! Using a skill-based game rather than a lottery or raffle ensures that every competition is legitimate and fair.

In the Dream Car Competition there can only be one car winner. If a case arises where two or more players are equally close to the judges position, the winner will be determined by calculating the next closest entry of the players in question. The person with the closest second ticket is then the outright winner. If any player in this equidistant scenario has only one ticket, all players that qualify will participate in another Spot the Ball competition online to determine the outright winner.

All equidistant players who do not win outright, will receive £1,000 in cash. Please be sure to read the full terms and conditions.

Every week, the Dream Car Competition runs from midnight until midnight (UK time), Monday to Sunday. Judging takes place on Monday morning, and BOTB presenter Christian usually surprises the winner in person on Tuesday. 

Once we’ve given the winner the good news, we’ll announce the competition results on our website. You’ll also receive a notification via email. 

You can log in to your Account to check the results, see how close you were to the judges' coordinates, and see if you have won any Game Credits.

Our other competitions run for the period specified on the entry page. After entering any competition, visit the My Competitions page to see when it finishes. 

Once we’ve announced the winner, we’ll post the competition results on our website and email you a notification. 

Game Credit is a virtual currency you can earn or win in various ways. For instance, you can win Game Credit by entering one of our regular social media competitions, referring a friend, or placing tickets in zones 1-5 on the Dream Car Competition Spot the Ball photo.

You can enter our competitions for free with enough Game Credit or use it for part payment. It is automatically deducted from your account at checkout with any qualifying purchase.

Please note: Game Credit cannot be withdrawn as cash. It expires after a specified period – check your Account for details.

For the Midweek Lifestyle Competition, add tickets for the prizes you'd like to win and answer the skilled multiple choice question. Your answer applies to all tickets in that order. Good luck!

At the end of the Dream Car Competition, the same 'Spot the Ball' picture you used to choose your coordinates is shown to a judging panel composed of professional sporting experts.

In the presence of an independent lawyer, they mark where they think the centre of the ball should be. The winner is the person who is closest to the judged position.

We like to use a panel of judges to ensure nobody ever knows the ball's original position to keep our competitions fair, transparent, and legally compliant. This way, the game relies on the entrant's skill rather than the chance that the original spot on the photograph is selected.

To ensure absolute fairness, our Spot the Ball judging is a subjective process — and it has to be by law. 

You may not agree with the Judges every week, but many others will, including the guaranteed winners. 

The panel of professional judges does the best job they can, and we ask you to consider that they are fair and logical over a good period of time, even if you occasionally think the ball should be somewhere else in the image.
