A Derby mum-of-two has shared her exciting plans after winning a whopping £150,000 cash prize in an online competition. Naga Avvaru, 31, was "lost for words" when she discovered she had won the prize in BOTB’s weekly Dream Car Competition.

She was at home when she received a visit from BOTB presenter Christian Williams, who told her she was this week’s winner and unveiled a briefcase containing the cash. “I’ve been playing on and off for a while, and one day thought I might win, but it still came as a shock when we saw Christian," she said. “I was shaking, I was that excited.

“This amount of money is life-changing. We’ll be able to pay off some loans, put it towards the mortgage and renovate our house. We’re also planning a trip to India to see our parents and visit some different places over there.”

Christian said: “It’s a huge win and a life-changing sum of money, so a massive congratulations to Naga, who was utterly lost for words when she found out. After scooping this much cash on a wintery morning, Naga is now planning to pay off her mortgage before taking her family on holiday somewhere a tad warmer, and I’m sure they will have an epic time.”
