Paul's Motoring Already in 2015 {{favouriteCount}}

STUNNED North Bersted resident Paul Ward had the perfect start to 2015.

Mr Ward was this week's winner of the Best of the Best Spot The Ball competition.

He won a £61,500 Range Rover sports car and £10,000 in cash on Tuesday. Mr Ward, 58, was presented with them at his Orchards Caravan Park home by Best of the Best director Rupert Garton.

"I'm absolutely staggered. This is fantastic," said aeroplane engineer and Jeep Cherokee driver Mr Ward. "What a wonderful start to the year. You always hope you will winn, but you never think it will definitely happen."

Father-of-two Mr Ward spent just £3.50 on his ten tickets with his winning entry after four years of regularly trying to guess the position of the ball in a photograph of a football match. His opinion was closest to the view of a panel of two former referees and ex-England player Sol Campbell.
