One month later, long after his return to his oxford home, Stuart received the call which he “would never forget”, from Best of the Best Managing Director, William Hindmarch.

My wife tells me I went white as a sheet when William called to tell me the news,” he said.

“I’ve dreamt of owning a Porsche Boxster all my life, so winning one was unbelievable – we still can’t believe our luck.”

Stuart, who is pictured above with his prize had the choice of a number of small cars plus £10,000 in cash, but he opted for the Porsche.

“It wasn’t a hard decision,” he said. “I was concerned about the boot space in the Porsche, when my son told me that at my age I was mad not to just take the Porsche!”
