A Devon construction worker and his wife will return to the luxury Mexican resort where they got married 10 years ago after winning a £16,000 family holiday.

Ben Knapton, from Torquay, has won a 10-night trip to Cancun courtesy of online competition firm BOTB. The fantastic prize is an all-inclusive stay for two adults and two children staying at Moon Palace, The Grand Cancun.
Ben said: “Me and my wife Anna got married there 10 years ago and five years ago we went back to celebrate our anniversary and stayed in the same hotel, which is why I entered. Our wedding was amazing and I’ll be delighted to go back as it’s the best place I’ve been to.”
The 38-year-old and father-of-two received a video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams who surprised him with the news he had won the competition.

“It was amazing to receive the call from Christian. It’s only the second time I have entered the competition and I never thought I’d win," said Ben.

Discussing the Midweek Lifestyle Competition winner, Christian said: “A huge congratulations to Ben for winning this amazing holiday. I was going to tell him all about it, but didn't need to as he has been twice already. He’s obviously delighted to be going back and I’m sure he and his family will have an amazing time.”

BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize. Winners have bagged Rolex watches, holidays and motorbikes in recent months.

The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £53m-worth of cars so far. To see Ben’s reaction alongside a host of other lucky winners, head over to BOTB.com.
