A furloughed security guard from Bicester was nearly speechless after scooping a brand-new BMW with £30,000 cash in the boot.

Adrian Zvinca, 35, was at home when BOTB’s Christian Williams video-called to tell him he was this week’s Midweek Car Competition winner and the proud new owner of a BMW X1 as well as thousands of pounds richer.

“I can’t believe it,” he laughed. “I have been waiting for Christian to call me for years - I’m a huge BOTB fan!”

The father-of-one said it was a “dream come true”.
“I have a little baby boy now so I needed a bigger family car.

Adrian lives with his wife, Catalina, and 11-month-old son, Matias, near Bicester Village.

After Christian showed Adrian around the car, he opened the boot to reveal a briefcase stuffed with £30,000 cash waiting for him.

“I don’t know what to say,” Adrian laughed. “This is just unbelievable!”

“We’ve been saving up for a house deposit for a while now so this will go towards that. We also might use some for a holiday once the Covid restrictions are lifted.

“Thank you so much BOTB!”

Christian, who surprises the BOTB winners each week, said: “Adrian seems like such a lovely guy and I’m super happy for him. His reaction was amazing and I loved chatting to him. Massive congratulations again, Adrian!”
