« Back Bentley Flying Spur V8
Bentley may be best known these days for the Conti GT coupe and big Bentayga SUV, but their history was built on big, powerful saloons. The kind of car that you could load up with four people and their luggage and blast down to Monaco at speed in complete luxury.
Sure the Bentayga can do that, but it’s not the most aerodynamic of vehicles, so this is where the latest Flying Spur comes in.
With front end styling like the new Continental, but with some added brutishness and aggression, it has a beautiful flowing line down the long bodysides that kicks up over the rear wheelarch giving real presence and athleticism.
The interior is just like the Conti GT too, but with masses of rear space thanks to the long saloon bodystyle. Also shared with the Continental (and Bentayga) is the 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 engine putting out 542bhp and 770Nm of torque. That’s enough to propel the Flying Spur to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds on the way to a 198mph top speed.
There really is no better way to cross continents in luxury and you can win one in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
