Win a BMW i4 M50
Look out, Tesla – BMW has got you in its sights!
The Model 3 Performance has been the benchmark for mid-sized performance EVs since it came out, mainly because it didn’t have any real rivals. But even though it may have taken them a while, BMW is here with their new i4, and it should have Tesla VERY worried.
This is the i4 M50, the very first electric M/// car and sits at the top of the i4 range with AWD, two motors making 537bhp and nearly 800Nm of torque and a 3.9 seconds sprint to 62mph. But with its 81kWh battery, it also has a 316-mile range, which is only a little bit shy of the Model 3.
The body is shared with the new 4-Series Gran Coupe, so it has the 4-Series front end, with a sloping coupe-like roofline and a stylish rear. In this M50 guise, the i4 really is a great looking car; to most people, it wouldn’t even register as an EV.
So you get the looks, the performance and the range – could this be the car to topple Tesla? We think it might; with the styling, BMW’s legendary handling and interiors, it certainly ticks all the boxes. Yes, please!
