Win a Genesis GV60 Sport Plus
What’s a Genesis? That’s the general reaction to seeing this new EV, and rightly so – the brand is only a year old in the UK, but they have lofty expectations to take on the established premium brands and beat them at their own game.
Part of the Hyundai/Kia group, this GV60 uses the same platform as the hugely popular Ioniq5 and EV6, so that’s certainly a good place to start. One of the big bonuses of the GV60 is the styling – it’s bold, futuristic and rather pretty with Genesis’s new trademark split headlights and tail lights, a wide lower grille opening and a sloping roofline.
So in this Sport Plus guise, you get AWD via two motors making a combined 483bhp and 700Nm of torque – that’s enough to get this EV to 62mph in just 4.0 seconds – that’s the kind of speed that supercars were achieving only 15yrs ago!
The 77kWh battery means you’ll get a WLTP-certified 289 miles on a charge, while 235kW Rapid Charging capability means you can charge up from 10-80% in just 16mins. That’s getting very close to fuel-filling station times!
The GV60’s party piece, though, must be the interior. Looking every bit like a budget Bentley, the GV60 has soft quilted leather, premium-feel surfaces everywhere, and a fancy crystal rotating gear selector, all of which come together to make it feel like a premium offering.
This is an EV with all the looks, performance and range, and you could win one with BOTB!
