Volkswagen has been teasing their new all-electric MPV for about 10yrs, with concept after concept tugging on the heartstrings of those who love the retro VW Camper, but want a modern, all-electric version.
Well finally it has arrived and it’s everything we were all waiting for. Seamlessly blending retro styling touches with modern VW style, the new ID.Buzz may be a big MPV but there’s very little on the road that is as cool or desirable. The two-tone paint options that create the deep-V at the front, the three bars on the c-pillar that ape the old Camper’s engine intakes, the massive VW badge on the front, it’s all cool and modern but shamelessly retro.
The ultimate lifestyle vehicle for families, the ID.Buzz can seat 5 or 6 in supreme comfort and space, with a huge boot and sleek interior style, with colours that can match the two tone exterior paint options.
Being a full EV, there’s a 77kWh battery which means 258 miles range and there’s super-fast charging to get from 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes.
