It’s a new Lotus, but this is like nothing they’ve ever made before!
Lotus couldn’t just jump on the SUV bandwagon like Lamborghini and Ferrari have done; that’s too ‘normal’ for an innovative company like Lotus. So they have created the Eletre – the world’s first fully electric Super-SUV!
The styling is full of drama and poise, with an aggressive front end. But look closer, and it’s all about the aero – there are scoops, air channels and deep sculpted body sections all over to help the Eletre cut through the air and be more efficient, including an active lower cooling grille that looks seriously cool.
That aero work combined with the 107kWh battery means the Eletre can travel 373 miles on a charge and it can rapid charge at up to a staggering 350kW – that’s over 200 miles added in 20mins.
But this is a Lotus, so performance is obviously key, and the 603bhp and 710Nm from the twin electric motors (making it AWD) mean you can hit 62mph in just 4.5 seconds – and this is the base model!
The interior is stunning, with loads of room and every bit of tech you could imagine, and outside, you get 22-inch alloys as standard, along with some glorious paint options.
