Win a Cupra Ateca VZ3

OR TAKE £33,000 CASH
£1.40

The Cupra brand was split off into its entity a few years ago, and the Ateca was their first fully branded car. Hence the rather aggressive and funky new logo and no Seat badges anywhere.

This helps with positioning as a sportier, high-performance brand within the VW Group, and Ateca is a good example. Yes, from the outside, it may look like a typical family SUV, but underneath – this is a Golf R.

The familiar EA888 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbo engine produces 296bhp and goes to all four wheels via a 7-speed DSG gearbox. It can sprint to 62mph in 5.3 seconds and onto a 153mph top speed while making a fruity noise from the quad exhausts.

This VZ3 is the highest-specced Ateca you can buy, with the Sound and Comfort Pack (which brings Adaptive cruise control, heated seats, electric tailgate and Beats audio), the Design Pack that features bronze detailing to the wheels, CUPRA branded Brembo brakes and glossed black accents elsewhere.

It certainly looks the part, and having driven this Ateca, we can confirm it’s a riot to drive while still being practical and sensible when you want it to be.

The perfect all-rounder? You decide! And you can win one with BOTB!
