« Back Volkswagen Multivan Style eHybrid
If you want to move seven people around these days, most opt for a big SUV like a Discovery, but there’s another, more stylish and practical option – the MPV.
Volkswagen has been selling a big MPV for years, with the Touran, Sharan and the Transporter-based Caravelle, but now all of those have been replaced by the new T7 Multivan. The T6.1 van will continue to be made as a van, camper etc but for stylish moving of people around, Multivan is the way now.
The new Multivan has all the latest tech and stylish cues from VW, with sleek LED headlights, the option of super-cool two-tone paintwork and inside, all the space you could want. You can choose six or seven seats, all of which have loads of room and are supremely comfortable. The dash is just like the latest Golf too.
This is the top of the line Style model, which comes with most options as standard including 18-inch wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control, electric sliding doors, Harmon Kardon stereo, Matrix LED headlights, Keyless Entry and Panoramic Roof.
It also comes with the new VW Group hybrid system, which is a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine paired up with a 13kWh battery and a motor to give a combined 215bhp and 250Nm of torque. This means you can go around on battery power only for around 30 miles, more than enough for city driving. The hybrid means it also gets a crazy 154mpg on the WLTP cycle.
There’s no better way to get seven people around in comfort and style, and you can win one in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
