When it was introduced the F800 effectively created the middleweight adventure bike segment and was a huge success. Thankfully not too much has changed, only improvements to report! This bike can still take you anywhere you want to go, mountain tracks or city streets - it excels! The fuel tank has increased capacity and has been returned to the more traditional place upfront. Most noticeable is the new engine, developed to create less vibration it has a 90-degree crank pin off-set and now purrs like a kitten. The old trellis frame has been replaced by a steel bridge frame that incorporates the engine as a stress member whilst giving increased clearance, it has an electronically adjustable rear shock and the electronics are now best in class.
