What’s a DS? Glad you asked! DS is to Citroen, what Lexus is to Toyota, Genesis to Hyundai – a more upmarket, exclusive brand based on the same mechanical bits.
The DS4 is their mid-sized family car, and here in Rivoli trim is fantastically well specced and looks amazing. There’s a modern front end with super cool lightning bolt DRLs that frame the bumper and Matrix LED headlights, the side has 19-inch alloy wheels, while the body has a slightly raised-up crossover style that isn’t an SUV, but gives you better access, a better view out and more ground clearance.
Inside is a real treat, with a really stylish dashboard including a 10-inch infotainment display and 7-inch instrument cluster, a head-up display and there’s keyless entry, full leather and a reversing camera.
This model is powered by a super-frugal 1.2 litre turbo 3-cylinder engine which makes 131bhp and 230Nm of torque, which gives ample performance along with over 45mpg.
