There have been small SUVs coming out for years, but when Ford entered the market with the Puma, the competition didn’t stand a chance - especially when they released this ST model!
Based on the same platform as the amazing Fiesta ST, the Puma ST is a proper cross-country back road blaster. It handles just as well as the Fiesta, but you sit higher up so you can see over hedgerows and really drive with confidence.
The 1.0 litre three-cylinder turbocharged Ecoboost engine puts out 168bhp and 248Nm of torque which gives great performance and a really cool soundtrack from the twin exhausts, it even does little pops and crackles on the overrun! It powers the front wheels via the now-standard 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The Puma ST is certainly the best looking small SUV and the ST treatment only makes it better with the aggressive front end, 19-inch alloy wheels and roof spoiler. Inside you get gorgeous figure-hugging Ford Performance seats with red stitching and the latest Sync4 infotainment system.
