Win a Porsche 718 Cayman + £2,000
Petrolheads the world over were saddened when the new Porsche 718 Cayman was announced, dropping the flat-six engines of old, replacing them with turbocharged flat-four engines.
As with the 718 Boxster, the new engines are downsized but are more powerful than the units they replace. The 718 Cayman gets a 2.0-litre flat-four turbo producing 296bhp and 380Nm of torque, which allows 0-62mph in 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 170mph.
Visually there are no surprises as the 718 Cayman adopts the same styling changes as the Boxster. There’s a new front bumper, headlights, tail lights and rear bumper with the new PORSCHE script across the back, alongside some tweaks to the interior.
The engine may be smaller, but the epic Porsche handling remains, and you won't believe how good this sports coupe sounds. The purity of handling and usable performance means that the cheapest Porsche available may also be among the best!
