That’s right, the latest Megane E-Tech has gone fully electric, with a funky new style and the very latest of Renault’s technology. The bodywork is now a raised-up crossover style, not a full SUV but not a traditional hatchback either, but we think this is one of the best looking new EVs with its cool DRLs, powerful wheelarches and rear lightbar.
Under the floor sits a 55kWh usable battery which gives a WLTP range of 280 miles. But there’s standard 22kW AC charging and 130kW DC charging too, so you can add 150 miles of range in 28 minutes.
There’s a single motor sending 214bhp and 300Nm to the front wheels and you’ll love the effortless performance of a sleek, silent EV for all your family car duties.
