Win a Cupra Formentor VZ2 333 + £2,000
The new Cupra brand has been on a roll lately, with the new Leon and Ateca models getting great reviews all over. But both of those models are shared with SEAT, so Cupra wanted a model of their own – step forward the Formentor.
Cupra’s first unique model, it sits between the Leon and Ateca as a sporty crossover. So it’s higher than a Leon, but lower than an Ateca, with a better view out and easier to get in and out of.
Styling-wise it’s full of Spanish flair, with sharp creases, exaggerated wheelarches and a sloping, coupe-like rear end. You have Cupra’s signature bronze detailing and you can even spec it in some matte colours.
Underneath its familiar stuff – a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine powers all four wheels via a 7-spd DSG gearbox, producing 328bhp and 420Nm of torque - that’s good enough for a sub-5 second sprint to 62mph and a 155mph top speed.
Inside there is a very stylish dash and typical VW Group tech and kit, of which there’s pretty much everything thrown in on this VZ2 model.
