BOTB: Sutton dad 'reduced to tears' as son wins £10,000 cash prize

Jun 2018

A Sutton dad was ‘reduced to tears’ when his son was given £10,000 cash after winning a prize in a giveaway.

Alex Veres, 21, was handed the money after ‘dream car’ giveaway company Best of the Best (BOTB) showed up at his Sutton home.

It became a little too much for his dad, Chaba, though as he began to ‘shed tears of joy’.

Mr Veres said: “I can’t really believe I’ve won. My dad Chaba couldn’t believe that I’d won either, he couldn’t stop crying.

“I’ve been playing BOTB for a while now but I never thought I’d actually win, my brother Andrew and I are in competition with each other every week when we play.

“He’s so jealous that I’ve won first.”

The garden nursery worker said he’s going to treat both his dad and brother following the news, while also going to visit his family in Romania.

He won the money through a weekly lifestyle competition that is organised by BOTB.

The company was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and claims to have given away more than £22 million worth of ‘supercars’ since then.
