Bexley dad scoops £10,000 – three years after winning a Jaguar in same competition

Oct 2020

A lucky dad has won a £10,000 cash prize in a dream car and luxury lifestyle online weekly competition.

Graham Noakes, from Bexley, won the £10,000 cash prize in the weekly Luxury Lifestyle Competition run by Best of the Best PLC (BOTB).

He entered the competition after spending just 50p on the winning ticket to answer a skills-based question on car logos.

It is not the first time he has won a prize from BOTB. Amazingly, he won a Jaguar XE R-Sport in the company’s Dream Car spot the ball competition three years ago.

The generous 63 year-old is giving his daughter some of the cash to help her buy her first house.

The BOTB presenter, Christian Williams video-called him to surprise him with the news.

“Wow, that is absolutely amazing,” Graham said: “October must be my lucky month, I won the Jaguar in October 2017, too.”

Graham took the cash alternative to the Jaguar prize in 2017 to refurbish his kitchen, and now he is thrilled to be able to help his daughter put a deposit down for her first house.

“This is just perfect timing though. My daughter, Abbie, is just in the process of buying her first house, so this will help massively with the deposit.

“I suppose I’ll have to give some to my son, and wife, too – not sure how much will be left for me after that, though.”

BOTB was founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch, and has been giving away two dream cars every week in their spot the ball online competition.
