It was a chilly Tuesday morning in Cheltenham when Christian arrived to surprise this week's Dream Car competition winner, Dawn Baker, with some very special news - that she is now our biggest ever cash winner, scooping an incredible quarter of a million pounds!
With the help of her husband, Christian and the team arrived at her office to give Dawn the surprise of a lifetime! "Oh my gosh! No way! Is this for me!" she exclaimed as she went straight in for the BOTB hug. Walking up the road, the couple had no idea that this time there wasn't going to be a car... but instead a huge digital screen revealing their eye-watering £250,000 win!
"I just can't believe this; I think I might have to sit down!" she exclaimed as the realisation of her win began to sink in. Having first played in the airports, it's now a tradition in the Baker house each Sunday for all the family to play, including Dawn's husband, Tim, and two sons, Joey and Louis. Dawn usually plays for the Range Rover Velar... well, with this crazy sum of money, she can buy three!
Having had a tough time recently with her dad being unwell, Dawn plans to use the money towards spending more quality time with her family as well as treating her husband and sons - massive congratulations Dawn!

A woman who has scooped an eye-watering £250,000 cash prize with online competition firm BOTB is hoping to use the money to allow her to spend more time with her unwell father. Dawn Baker, of Lechlade-on-Thames, was left stunned when the firm’s Christian Williams turned up at her work place in Cheltenham town centre to tell her she was the weekly dream car competition winner. Walking up the road with Virgin Radio star Christian, she was met by a huge digital screen revealing her life-changing prize. Dawn, who works as a reception administrator at a firm of solicitors, said: “It’s like a dream come true. I was shaking like a leaf when I was told the news.
“I went to work with a lot of worry and left with a huge weight off my shoulders.”
Having had a tough time recently with her dad, Michael Carrington, who lives in Oxfordshire, being unwell, she plans to use the money to help her spend more quality time with her family. She said: “My family are my life and I could help them so much with this money. I can help my dad who is unwell and is going through a very tough time. “I love my dad so much and I wanted to have more time with him. Years ago, I used to sit on his knee and play Spot the Ball in the newspaper, although we never won!
“He is very well-known and everyone loves him. I can’t go anywhere without someone asking about him. He has played a lot of darts, football and cricket. He has always involved himself in the community and what he has gone through has been heartbreaking. “Winning this amount of money couldn’t have come at a better time and it’s like someone is looking down on us.” Dawn, who is a hairdresser by trade, is also planning to use some of her cash prize to treat her husband, Tim, and two sons, Louis and Joey, and pay off their mortgage.
She said: “My sons are in their early 30s and work really hard so I plan to help them. I will also get my husband something nice, maybe a new vehicle.” Christian said: “Huge congratulations to Dawn, our biggest ever cash winner. It feels amazing to give her the surprise of a lifetime. She set me off with a few tears and I can tell how much winning the money means to her and her family, especially her father.

Christian is an amazing presenter - he's a warm, friendly, people's person, and so were the whole video crew. Lizzie, too, was extremely helpful, making herself available and explaining the process for receiving this life-changing prize.
