Dream Car competition winner & results Chris Rouine - Porsche Macan GTS + £20k Cash 09 - 15 Jul Week 28 2018

CLOSE X

Commercial Kitchen Contractor Chris Rouine was busy in a meeting earlier today when Christian dropped in to surprise him with a brand new Porsche Macan GTS, worth over £58,000! Chris’s wife Julie helped us plan the sting and was even more surprised than Chris when he said he’d be giving the Macan to her!

Thankfully there was a briefcase with £20,000 in cash in the boot too, so Chris can indulge himself a little with that…although his daughter Miannah – spending some time with Dad on work experience - already has her eyes on some of it! Good luck wrestling that away Chris…and congratulations!

Couple win £58,000 dream car

Aug 2018

A VALLEY couple are celebrating after winning a £58,000 car and cash in a giveaway competition/

Chris Rouine, business development director of Vision commercial kitchens, was left speechless when he found out he had won his wife Julie her dream car a Porsche Macan GTS plus £20,000 cash in the BOTB competition.

Chris, 55, said: "I'm honestly speechless, I can't believe I've won. Julie and I only visited the Porsche showroom a few weeks ago.

You always dream about winning but you never think it will actually be your week Julie and my business partner Jack did such a good job of keeping it a secret."

Haslingden couple Chris and Julie, 44, who works at HSBC in Blackburn, play to win cars online - splitting their entries on each other's dream cars.

Chris said: "I always play half of my tickets for the cars I want and the other half for Julie's dream car. When Christian from BOTB turned up in my office I was hoping it would be the Porsche for Julie. I'm so thrilled to have been able to give Julie the car she wanted, she's already picking out the specification - but I'm keeping the £20,000!"

TESTIMONIAL

Looking back at the previous day’s events it should have been obvious that something just wasn’t right..? The wife didn’t eat her tea on the Monday evening! Wasn’t hungry she said, she got out of bed at 11.30pm, couldn’t sleep she said, and all because she had earlier taken the call from Christian on her way back from work that I was this week’s winner and all the better when she realised it was her dream car that had won.

Julie was my contact in case I was lucky enough to win and I’m still surprised to this day she kept the fact I’d won away from me but so glad that she did!

When Christian knocked on the boardroom door and entered it felt so surreal..? I knew who he was but it couldn’t be to surprise me? That just doesn’t happen but that’s the beauty of the competition it can happen to anyone and one of the reasons I find the competition so fantastic and one I’ll continue to enter as long as it’s available!

Thanks again to Christian for being so infectious as you really are dumbstruck at first but he pulls you out of your shell to enjoy the surprise to its fullest!

The whole team at BOTB are there for you and provide great support. We have decided to wait until the facelifted Porsche Macan S is available but get the GTS bits included. We should be looking at specifications in Sept 2018 and hopefully be in a position to pick up the car early 2019. Julie can’t wait!
