Dream Car competition winner & results George Waters - New Audi ABT RS3-R (£91,615) + £50,000 11 - 17 Jul 2022 (Week 28)

CLOSE X

The Temperature Just Got Hotter!

It may be a heatwave here in the UK but that didn't stop Christian from surprising this week's Dream Car winner George Waters with our newest addition to the line-up... the £92,000 Audi ABT RS3-R!

The RS3-R was revealed by ABT just a week ago and there will only be 200 built, so George is one very lucky man to win this exclusive hot hatch! As George was on holiday in the Lake District, Christian jumped on a video call to give him the good news and understandably, George was in complete shock, exclaiming "that's insane!"

But the surprise wasn't over yet, as Christian opened the boot to reveal that he had also won £50,000 cash! "Wow, I'm sweating even more now!" joked George as he contemplated his £142,000 prize!

Massive congrats again George!

Teesside lad scoops £140,000 prize - including limited edition Audi - from £3 competition ticket

Jul 2022

A Teesside lad has scooped a £140,000 prize in a huge competition win.

George Waters was on holiday with his family when dream car and lifestyle competition Best of the Best PLC called him to tell him he was a winner and owner of a brand-new limited edition Audi ABT RS3-R. The 27-year-old was left stunned after hearing about his new £91,000 car, and the £50,000 extra cash that came with it.

The Teesside process engineer spent just £3 on the competition ticket and said it was "insane" when BOTB’s Christian Williams video called him to break the news.George said he’s always loved the Audi RS3 but when he heard about the ABT pack he thought he had to give it a go. He said: “I can’t believe I’ll be one of just 200 people in the world who get to drive one. Maybe one of the very few in the UK.”

The RS3-R was revealed by ABT just a week ago and there will only be 200 built, so George is one very lucky man to be behind the wheel of one. He added: “I’ve played BOTB for a couple of years now and I always play for different cars depending what’s in the lineup."On the video call, Christian showed George around his new car and revealed the £50,000 waiting for him in the boot. He said he had no idea what he’d spend the money on as it was "too much to get his head around."

BOTB hands over the keys to two stunning cars each week as well as the lifestyle prize. Other recent winners have bagged a quad bike, a holiday to the Arctic and £15,000 in cash. The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £48m worth of cars so far.

BOTB’s Christian said: “George has played for an amazing car and I was super excited to be the one to give him the good news. The Audi paired with the cash makes for a fantastic prize and I’m sure he can’t wait to get home from holiday so he can celebrate - huge congratulations once again!”
