Dad-of-two's 'lucky day' as he bags £26k VW car on BOTB while waiting for haircut

Jul 2024

A North Staffordshire man couldn't believe his luck when he won a new £26,000 car while waiting for a haircut. Adrian Sumlea, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, won a VW Tiguan R-Line in leading car giveaway firm BOTB’s Instant Wins Competition.

"A customer of mine had recently won a new car with BOTB so I thought I would give it a go," said the 44-year-old. "I was sitting in the barbers waiting to have my hair cut when I played and when it popped up on my phone to say I had won I couldn’t believe it.

"Obviously, it was my lucky day, and it’s a really nice feeling. I need a car and I really like the R-Lines." The father-of-two added: "This car will allow me to create some memories."

After being notified that he was a winner, Adrian received a video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams who wanted to find out how he reacted to his exciting news. Christian said: “After getting a new haircut and winning a car on the same day, I bet Adrian feels like a new man.

“It’s a lovely motor. I bet he can’t wait to get behind the wheel and start creating some magical memories." Leading car giveaway company BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.
