Welsh retiree Derek was soaking up the sun when BOTB presenter Christian delivered the news over a video call that he had won £10,000 tax-free cash in Friday's competition. 

“I could do with that!” Derek shared, beaming. As it turns out, the win couldn’t have come at a better time… Derek’s recovering from surgery. “I’m also having trouble surviving on my pension.”
