I have been entering competitions almost since day one, when BOTB was in an airport departures lounge, Heathrow, I believe
Over the years, I’ve won game credit and things like that, but never a major prize, but it never stopped me dreaming of winning.

Things like this don’t happen to me, so imagine my surprise yesterday morning when the team turned up at my front door saying, You’ve won a car! The best part was that the tickets were only 6p each for this prize
I was a little sceptical at first until I checked my phone, but it wasn’t April Fool's Day.

I chose the alternative cash option as opposed to taking the car, as I’m due to retire this year, and it will help to make our planned trip to South Africa more special
