« Back Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Ti Carbon
We absolutely love the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio here at BOTB. But as well as having an incredibly long and hard to pronounce name, a 503bhp RWD super saloon may not actually be what a lot of people want to use every day, with the somewhat exciting handling and thirsty engine. Clearly Alfa Romeo have seen a gap in the market too, because they’ve now brought out this Giulia Veloce Ti – a car that looks very similar to the Quadrifoglio but with more reasonable running costs. So on the outside we have the same gorgeous 19-inch alloys, red brake calipers, a carbon grille surround, mirror caps and side skirts and on the bootlid sits the same carbon spoiler (well it does as we include the Carbon Pack, which we think is essential). Under the bonnet there’s a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine with 276bhp and 400Nm which gives great performance, but with near-40mpg economy. This is also widely regarded as being the sweetest Giulia to drive as well.
