« Back Win a Mini Countryman JCW
Win a Mini Countryman JCW in the BOTB Dream Car competition!
Even though the new BMW-owned Mini brand has been around for over 15yrs now, people still seem to be intent on comparing them to the old, tiny Minis and saying they’re too big. Well, those people had better a) shut up and b) turn away now as the new Countryman is out and they’re really not going to like it!
When the Countryman was originally launched it was a huge success as it brought the Mini’s funky styling and endless customisation to a family-friendly small SUV style body. But it was fairly small and that limited its market – well not any more.
The new model has grown considerably and it now has a far more grown-up look too. Still, definitely a Mini so as to not upset the current owners wanting to upgrade, but different enough. This is the top of the range John Cooper Works performance model too, so there’s a new 2.0-litre turbocharged engine under the bonnet producing 302bhp which is sent to all four wheels as standard so expect epic performance in any weather.
For 2021 the Countryman JCW gets a few upgrades, from a tidied up front end, new wheel designs and a funkier rear end with the Union Jack rear LED lights, to the interior which now gets the digital display ahead of the driver and a few more tech updates.
Be aware though – you’ll definitely want to tick the £20k cash option as the options are going to be seriously addictive on this!
