With the latest mid-engined Corvette, Chevrolet really threw a curveball to the Corvette purists – well they’d better duck as this latest E-Ray version is a Hybrid, and it’s AWD!
Taking the widebody and front end from the Z06, the Corvette E-Ray looks far more aggressive than the standard car and can even be optioned with the Z06’s incredible looking carbon fibre wheels.
The E-Ray takes the 6.2 litre V8 from the standard car, but adds a 1.9kWH battery and a front-mounted electric motor, so the total power is now 635bhp and there’s a staggering 778Nm of torque. But thanks to that front motor it’s now AWD, so 0-62mph takes just 2.9 seconds!
As with the standard car, the interior is a masterpiece in driver-focused design, with a sweeping dash that encloses the driver with all the buttons and tech they could need.\

With the latest mid-engined Corvette, Chevrolet really threw a curveball to the Corvette purists – well they’d better duck as this latest E-Ray version is a Hybrid, and it’s AWD!
Taking the widebody and front end from the Z06, the Corvette E-Ray looks far more aggressive than the standard car and can even be optioned with the Z06’s incredible looking carbon fibre wheels.
The E-Ray takes the 6.2 litre V8 from the standard car, but adds a 1.9kWH battery and a front-mounted electric motor, so the total power is now 635bhp and there’s a staggering 778Nm of torque. But thanks to that front motor it’s now AWD, so 0-62mph takes just 2.9 seconds!
As with the standard car, the interior is a masterpiece in driver-focused design, with a sweeping dash that encloses the driver with all the buttons and tech they could need.\
