What do you do if you have a family and want a fast four-door saloon yet find the 600hp Mercedes E63S a little underpowered? You buy the Dodge Charger Hellcat, of course!
It has the same 700bhp 6.2 litres supercharged V8 as the Challenger, which means this fairly sizeable saloon can hit 62mph in just 3.7 seconds. It’s a more aerodynamic shape than the coupe, so it tops out at a staggering 204mph. That’s right – over 200mph in a four-door saloon. Of course, you still get that shouting, snarling exhaust note from those two exhaust pipes at the back and a healthy dose of supercharger whine from the nose.
The interior is also super luxurious, with sumptuous leather seats that go with comfort over outright support. Of course, the standard Charger Hellcat always had a slight issue with grip, with all that power going through the rear wheels. So now they have this version - the Hellcat Widebody - which adds massive wheel arch extensions front and rear, which house wider tyres and a wider track for increased stability and grip. Oh, and it also makes it look at least 150% more aggressive - bring it on!
