Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Just look at it! The classic supercar proportions, the aggressive front end that looks like it’ll take your legs off, the four massive exhaust pipes. It’s just pure lust in automotive form, what else do you need to know?
Well, this is the facelifted Gallardo that came out in 2009 and cemented itself as the ultimate usable supercar. The incredible V10 engine was increased to 5.2 litres and with it a jump to 552bhp. That means 0-62mph comes up in just 3.7 seconds and it can hit a top speed of 202mph – proper supercar stuff.
The -4 means it's got AWD, so you can put that power down in any weather and unleash the incredible noise from that V10 whenever you want.
The interior is a masterpiece in Italian design and German quality, while there’s even a decent front boot for your bags.

BMW e46 M3
There are few cars loved by enthusiasts as much as the BMW M3.
Using a 3.2-litre straight-six engine with a lightweight crankshaft and graphite coated aluminium pistons, it revved to 8000rpm and put out 338bhp. Performance was brisk thanks to the 1450kg kerb weight, with 0-62mph taking just 5.1 seconds.
But the raw numbers only tell part of the story with the e46 M3 – the engine sings and screams its way through the rev range, there’s a delicious howl from the exhausts and the steering and handling are just sublime.
Add in the fact that there are four very usable seats, a big boot and (relatively) understated looks and you can see why the e46 M3 has such a huge following…

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Just look at it! The classic supercar proportions, the aggressive front end that looks like it’ll take your legs off, the four massive exhaust pipes. It’s just pure lust in automotive form, what else do you need to know?
Well, this is the facelifted Gallardo that came out in 2009 and cemented itself as the ultimate usable supercar. The incredible V10 engine was increased to 5.2 litres and with it a jump to 552bhp. That means 0-62mph comes up in just 3.7 seconds and it can hit a top speed of 202mph – proper supercar stuff.

BMW e46 M3
There are few cars loved by enthusiasts as much as the BMW M3.
Using a 3.2-litre straight-six engine with a lightweight crankshaft and graphite coated aluminium pistons, it revved to 8000rpm and put out 338bhp. Performance was brisk thanks to the 1450kg kerb weight, with 0-62mph taking just 5.1 seconds.
But the raw numbers only tell part of the story with the e46 M3 – the engine sings and screams its way through the rev range, there’s a delicious howl from the exhausts and the steering and handling are just sublime.
Add in the fact that there are four very usable seats, a big boot and (relatively) understated looks and you can see why the e46 M3 has such a huge following…
