Win a Ford Transit Custom Nugget LWB 185 Auto
Campers have become crazy popular recently, with people wanting to take control of their holidaying. So it’s no surprise that Ford has decided to join VW and Mercedes in offering a factory-built camper based on the ridiculously popular Transit Custom, called, somewhat strangely – the Transit Custom Nugget.
We’re offering here one of the top campervans model they make, so it’s an LWB Transit Custom with the 182bhp 2.0 litre EcoBlue diesel engine linked to the six-speed automatic gearbox, with the tilting roof. This allows the Nugget to be used just like a regular LWB Transit Custom, yet when you park up to camp, the roof pops up, and you can sleep in comfort.
Inside is where the Nugget really comes into its own, with a comfortable 5-seat layout where the driver and passenger seats rotate to enable sitting around the fold-out table. Behind those seats is the kitchen area, with a dual burner gas hob, sink, fridge and lots of storage. As this is the LWB, though, behind that is a toilet area with a sliding screen and its own sink. So you have everything you need in one package.
With the roof up, you’re able to walk around the kitchen area with no headroom issues, while the bed is comfy and spacious above the cabin.
This Transit Custom Nugget is everything you could want in a modern camper, and you could win one right here in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
NOTE: The Transit Nugget can't be ordered currently, so we'll work with the winner to find a Nugget new on the used market up to the value of £87,865
