The future of sports cars is here! Who had MG on their bingo card for being the first to bring out a full EV convertible sports car? Not us! But we’re glad they have when it looks like this…
So this is an all-new car, the first of its kind and… well you’ll need to get used to the name. This is the MG Cyberster.
Name aside, this has to be one of the best-looking cars on sale today, irrespective of powertrain – from the low nose with swept back lights to the curvaceous bodywork and chopped-off rear it’s absolutely stunning. Oh, and did we mention it has scissor doors, like a Lambo?! Except unlike a Lambo, these are electrically operated too, seriously cool.
This GT model has epic performance to match the looks too, with 506bhp and 725Nm of torque so it can hit 62mph in 3.2 seconds. There's a motor on the front and rear axles, so there's AWD fun handling and grip and you can go 276 miles on a charge, more than enough for Sunday morning blasts with the roof down. And when you do need to recharge you can do so at 145kW, adding 190 miles in 30mins.
