« Back Porsche 911 Targa Heritage Edition
The new 992-generation 911 from Porsche is really starting to fill out the range, with the Turbo models sitting at the top, base Carrera models and the recently announced Targa 4 and Targa 4S.
But now Porsche has sent a Targa 4S to their Exclusive Manufaktur department to create the Heritage Edition and you get a seriously cool, limited Targa with plenty of retro touches.
The new Heritage Edition is reminiscent of models from the 50’s and 60’ with the original font for the Porsche logo, black brake calipers (as red or yellow wasn’t available then), special Cherry Red paint as an option and the option of even cooler roundels on the doors and front wing graphics. Effortlessly cool.
The engine remains as per the Targa 4S, so a 3.0-litre turbocharged flat-six producing 444bhp and 530Nm – that’s enough for 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds (or 3.6 seconds if you choose the Sport Chrono option) thanks to this model’s 4WD setup giving superior traction off the line.
Inside there are bespoke colour choices for the leather and all the badges are gold just like they used to be. Cool, retro and stylish.
And you could win one in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
