« Back Win a Dodge Ram TRX 1500
Has anyone ever looked at a full-size US pickup truck and said, “Hey, that thing looks like it needs 700hp”? We doubt it, but that hasn’t stopped Ram from doing it!
Taking the latest Ram 1500 as its base, they set about turning it into an absolute animal capable of crossing the desert at extreme speed.
So under that huge bonnet sits the same 6.2 litres supercharged V8 from the Challenger Hellcat, which means 702hp and 885Nm of torque, in a pickup truck. That means this behemoth can still hit 62mph in 4.5 seconds, despite being just under 6 metres long and 3 tonnes. All while emitting the most outrageous V8 sounds and supercharger whine from that enormous engine, it is a hilariously bonkers pickup truck.
When you get to the rough stuff, the 35-inch tyres will give you all the grip you need, while the Bilstein remote reservoir shocks and massive ground clearance of almost a foot mean that the wheels are always in contact with the ground whether Baja-running at 100mph or rock crawling at 5mph.
It looks the part, too, with a huge bonnet scoop, wider arches and graphics packs. It may be made for extreme off-roading, but the interior is still a luxurious place to sit, with full leather and Alcantara, a huge 12-inch portrait central touchscreen and comfy yet supportive seats.
There’s not much this crazy Ram TRX can’t do, and you could win one with BOTB!
