It’s not very often that a new Range Rover is launched. In fact, in the 40+ years it has been in production, this latest model is only classed as the 4th Generation. So when they do you can expect a paradigm shift, and this latest Range Rover doesn’t disappoint.
The styling is an evolution of the old model, blended with some Evoque-esque touches, meaning it now performs well aerodynamically. The whole vehicle is now aluminium, meaning that this D300 model is a massive 420 kg lighter than the predecessor. The new 296bhp/650Nm straight-six turbodiesel performs better than the old TDV8 did thanks to the lighter weight, all while returning much better mpg.
The interior is another step up, matching anything that Bentley can create and adding to the luxurious feel of this new Range Rover.
Off-road ability is still as amazing as before as well, with an increased wading depth to boot. No luxury vehicle can match the all-round ability of this new Range Rover…
