« Back Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic
And the winner of the award for longest car name of 2019 is…… the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. Silly name, so we’re going to simply go with the Velar SVA for now, as that gives it a link to the name we all thought it would have – the SVR. But Jaguar Land Rover decided to go down a different route with this car as they already have the aggressive, sporty F-Pace SVR in the stable with which this Velar shares its chassis and lots of parts.
But with the Velar, JLR found they could create something a little more unique, so the SVA still retains the thunderous 542bhp supercharged 5.0 litre V8, but the styling is a little more subdued than with the normal SVR style, sure there are larger intakes, bigger wheels and quad exhausts but it could also be ‘just’ another specced up Velar.
This we like – subtlety. It’s far from subtle when you start the engine though, that V8 still producing an unearthly rumble that will make any passing wildlife run for the hills. So you have style, comfort, sound and epic performance (4.3 seconds to 62mph!) all in one package – this has be the ultimate daily driving car and you could win one this week for just £3.05 in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
This car comes with £50,000 cash included in the price of your ticket.
