We’ve always loved the Suzuki Jimny here at BOTB. The rugged G-Wagen-lite looks, the no-nonsense way it drives, it has always been huge fun – one of those cars that’s more than the sum of its parts.

Twisted Automotive have enhanced the Jimny by adding their Performance Pack – a turbo system and ECU tune which bumps power from an unremarkable 101bhp to a proper giggle-inducing 162bhp. Don’t forget the Jimny only weighs just over a tonne!

They don’t stop at the engine though, as it needs to be able to handle that extra power too. So there’s a Bilstein and Eibach suspension system, new bigger wheels and tyres, some exterior tweaks and the interior even gets a luxurious retrim with fine leather, more soundproofing and an upgraded audio system.

The Twisted Jimny Turbo is based on the new commercial Jimny, so it’s only 2 seats, but it means you have a huge rear load area now. Full spec:
